Welcome To Farmers Elevator & Exchange

Shown above is our summer intern, Will Long making a presentation on Farm Safety to grade school children at the Ag Festival sponsored by the Monroe City FFA Chapter in early May.  We hope that by helping young people learn the dangers of the farm community will help preserve life and prevent injury to all.

About us..................

The Farmers Elevator & Exchange Co. is a locally owned farm cooperative that serves the needs of its patrons in a four county area here in Northeast Missouri.  In addition to operating a country grain elevator that handles corn, soybeans, wheat and sorghum (milo), we are in the business to support animal nutrition and crop production!  We carry a full line of livestock and dairy feeds as well as feeds for the farm flock, pet, horse, goat, sheep and show feeds.  We are a dealer for Land O Lakes and Purina Feeds, as well as ADM Alliance Nutrition Feeds plus QLF liquid feeds.  Farmers Elevator & Exchange Co. offers grain bank services as well as feed processing (rolling & mixing); and bulk and bag feed delivery services.

We are well known in the area for our business of providing products and services related to crop production including Golden Harvest Seed Corn and NK brand seed beans; dry fertilizer; NH3; and crop protection. We offer custom application of dry fertilizer and ag chemicals, grid soil sampling, mapping and spreading.  Each piece of our custom application equipment is equipped with auto-steer/GPS guidance which gives our customers the opportunity to have products placed where needed!

Our staff of experienced employees has the ‘we care about you' attitude and we do strive to look after the concerns and needs of agriculture producers and retail consumers on a daily basis.

Farmers Elevator achieved the 'MILLION DOLLAR CLUB' status by Syngenta with our sales volume of Golden Harvest Seed Corn and NK Soybean Seed.
You have a strong partner in the business---- a producer-owned food production system. In the spirit of our cooperative heritage, the Farmers Elevator & Exchange Company has continued to grow and evolve to meet the animal nutrition and the crop production and protection needs of your growing business!

Whether you raise crops, swine, beef cattle, dairy cattle, or have a flock of poultry or a few head of horses or some dogs and cats, you have the power of a cooperative system with global resources and local connections behind your operation. The products and services offered by Farmers Elevator & Exchange Company can add more vitality to your animals....your crops and grain . . . to your business . . . and, ultimately, to your community.
Just as our slogan says, we have been "Serving Agriculture Since 1919" and we are glad to be a part of American agriculture and of the faith-filled community in and around Monroe City, Missouri!  Shown above is a recent donation we made to the Monroe City FFA Chapter as a result of a program sponsored by our crop protection product supplier Syngenta.
