  The Farmers Elevator & Exchange Company is a locally owned farm cooperative that serves the needs of its patrons in a four county area here in Northeast Missouri.  In addition to operating a country grain elevator that handles corn, soybeans, wheat and sorghum (milo), we are in the business to support animal nutrition and crop production!  We carry a full line of livestock and dairy feeds as well as feeds for the farm flock, pet, horse, goat, sheep and show feeds.  We are a dealer for Land O Lakes and Purina Feeds, as well as ADM Alliance Nutrition Feeds plus QLF liquid feeds.  Farmers Elevator & Exchange Company offers grain bank services as well as feed processing (rolling & mixing); and bulk and bag feed delivery services

We are well known in the area for our business of providing products and services related to crop production including Golden Harvest Seed Corn and NK brand seed beans; dry fertilizer; NH3; and crop protection.  

Our staff of 21 employees has the ‘we care' attitude and we strive to look after the needs of agriculture producers and retail consumers. 

Farmers Elevator was recipient of the ‘Outstanding Agriculture Award' in 2008 from the Monroe City Chamber of Commerce and we were named "Dealer of the Year" for our sales district on 3 of the last 5years by

Golden Harvest Seed.

Just as our slogan says, we have been "Serving Agriculture Since 1919" and during 2010, we will be celebrating the construction of our concrete elevator that was erected in the summer of 1960.  We are glad to be a part of agriculture and the faith-filled community in and around Monroe City, Missouri!
